"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have." - Unknown
After 10 years of marriage and two kids, my aunt found herself in an unhappy marriage. Though she knew it would be hard, she found the strength to leave her husband and start a new life. Although she knows the divorce was for the right reasons, she still finds herself overwhelmed and trying to pick up the pieces of her life while staying strong for her little girls. To make matters worse, her ex-husband is not helping with the children! She has had to sell her car and move into a little apartment. She is turning to her family and friends for moral and financial support.
However, we haven't lived through what she is living through. We offer comforting words and try to keep her hopeful but I feel that it is not enough. She needs the encouragement from people who have been in her situation for they are the only ones who truly understand. I came across this website and am so amazed at the moral support women offer other women! I'm looking for words of wisdom or words of advice to help my aunt through this tought time.
So I am asking you, where and/or how do you find the strength to move on?
